Marketing With Videos - Adapt or Get Left Behind

As you might have guessed by some of the posts I've included on this blog, I'm fascinated with the use of online videos. The problem is, I'm a complete dunce when it comes to creating my own videos, unless I can use something that's free and amazingly simple, like Eyejot

However; I recently came across a guy named Frank Bruno, that's a genius with all things video. So when JanRon recently acquired the Master Resale Rights to one of Frank's products called,
The Video Marketers Tool Kit, I was like a kid in a candy store and tickled pink with the prospect of offering it to you.

Let me tell you, if you're a video marketer or even thinking about marketing with video, then you need the resources in
The Video Marketers Tool Kit. I can almost guarantee that you've never seen some of the techniques and resources that are revealed in this package or even thought about how to use them to your advantage.

In addition to
The Video Marketers Tool Kit, Frank has just launched a new site called, Video Marketer's Club. As a member you'll get unlimited access to tools and resources like the one found below. (click on the graphic to view the video)

By the way, Frank's also giving away free videos that you can use on your website

Revolution Money Exchange an alternative to Paypal

Does anyone remember years ago when a company called
x.com arrived on the net scene and was offering $25
to open an account and $10 for all referrals who did?
I was afraid it was a scam so only told maybe ten people
about it. Turns out that not only was it REAL, they
later became known as Paypal.

Well, there is another one called
Revolution Money Exchange.

I have checked it out and I do believe it is legit AND
the best part is you do not even have to give your
banking info if you do not want to fund the account.
But you have to hurry, the FREE $25 sign-up offer ends
on May 15, 2008.

5 Tips To Remember When Choosing PLR Content

One of the most popular questions circulating the internet marketing industry today is, how can private label rights content help build traffic? And if you know the answer to this question as well as the benefits, you may find out that your site is more successful than you ever thought possible. Indeed, learning about private label rights is not just necessary for the Internet marketer who wishes to earn more income from products other than their own, but for the whole market as well.

Content is what you need to build your web presence, but as you may already know, good content created by others can get expensive. One 50 page ebook written by a ghostwriter would cost you $500-$1500, while you can buy very good PLR ebooks for $50-$150, which means that PLR ebooks are 10 times cheaper then ghostwritten ebooks.

However, when you buy ebooks, or articles with private label rights you can use those products or parts from them to build your presence. And the best part about products with private label rights is that, in most cases, you can put your name as the author of the work, without having to pay royalties to the original author. This helps establish you as an expert in your niche, thus increasing the trust factor between you and prospective customers.

However; in addition to hurting your rankings in the search engines if not used properly, using private label rights articles "as-is" can hurt your credibility in the Internet marketing world. Imagine the confusion or distrust that could arise from a client seeing your name on an article they read elsewhere, supposedly written by someone else. What you have to do is choose the right product that you can improve on and market it properly to bring in the profits. To do this you will have to modify the original PLR content to make it uniquely your own.

One thing that a lot of people seem to overlook is that there is more to private label rights than just ebooks and articles, such as software, audios, videos, graphics, etc. But with so many PLR products available, how do you choose what's right for you?

These 5 tips should act as your guideline when buying private label rights products or joining a PLR membership site...

1) Demand. Is the product in demand and are people willing to pay for it? This is critical - because if there isn't a market for the product, you will make very few, if any, sales.

2) Knowledge or interest. This is just a suggestion and not really necessary to be successful with plr products, but if you plan to buy private label rights information products to modify them (i.e., change the title, contents, etc.) - it helps if you are knowledgeable about the subject matter that the information product covers - or at least have some interest in it.

3) Price. It's a good idea to come up with a budget before you start shopping for private label rights products. By the way, if you look hard enough you can find some very competitively priced plr products and membership sites out there, like the JanRon Digital Club.

4) Quality. This can be a little difficult because you typically do not see the content of the product until after you have purchased it. If the product comes with some type of guarantee that's a plus. That way, if you are unhappy with the quality you are protected by the terms of the guarantee.

5) Restrictions. This is important. Does the product come with any restrictions? For example, is there anything you cannot do with the product - i.e., change the title, content, etc. If the sales page does not indicate either way, you should email the seller of the product or owner of the membership site.

In summary, the growth of Private Label Rights and niche market products has encouraged a boom in marketing to a huge range of niche interests. A reseller with a bit of marketing savvy can profit greatly from venturing into the private label rights industry.

11 Free Ways To Increase Website Traffic

"How can I increase traffic to my website?"

Next to "how do I best serve my customers", this should be the most important task for every online business owner.

Of course, as you already know, more traffic generally equals more money. Now, before you start screaming out-loud, "I already know that, but HOW do I drive more traffic to my site?", let me assure you that it is actually relatively easy to increase your website's traffic using a few simple and free methods.

To help, I've compiled a list of 11 methods that you can use to drastically increase traffic to your site. In addition, there are two resources listed with each tip that will help you get started implementing these suggestions. (links open in new windows)

1. Social Bookmarking: Social bookmarking is a method for internet users to store, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of websites they find interesting or helpful. The good news is, these users can then share their bookmarks with others, organized by tags(keywords). The more people that bookmark your site, the higher it gets ranked by the bookmarking service and the search engines, which in turn leads to more traffic. Two of the more well-known social bookmarking sites and those that I use almost exclusively, are del.icio.us and Digg

2. Start a Blog: Unless you're brand new to the internet you have probably heard about the power of blogs. Internet users today are becoming more comfortable surfing and reading blogs instead of relying on formal sources and media for the information they're looking for. And if you haven't started one yet you should create a plan right now to take advantage of this traffic pulling tool. There are many sites on the web where you can create a blog at no cost. The two most popular are Blogger and Wordpress.

3. Directory Listings: When the internet first gained popularity, Yahoo became famous for having a well-organized directory. Although they now charge money for inclusion into their directory, it is still possible to find plenty of other highly visited directories. By having a listing on these sites, you can generate a steady amount of highly targeted traffic. The following are two of the more popular directories that offer free listings: Web World Directory and dmoz.org.

4. Win a web award: A number of places give out awards to webmasters that go the extra mile when designing their site. In addition to prestige, winning an award can generate interest and traffic from the giving site. If you have a unique looking site, then you can be assured that a web award will bring a good deal of traffic. The two sites listed here are directories of websites that give out awards: Award Sites and United Website Award Givers.

5. Use of Datafeeds: There's no getting around it,to keep visitors AND the search engines coming back to your site on a regular basis you need constantly updated content on the site. But creating that content can be taxing, on both your body and your time. That's why the use of datafeeds that automatically update your website with fresh content are a great resource to use. To see examples of two websites with content that is updated regularly and automatically, visit: JanRon Media How-To Videos and JRM Software. Two resources that enable you to add datafeeds to your site quickly and easily are, Niche-Content-Stores and Golden Can.

6. Viral Marketing: There was a time when you heard the phrase "viral marketing" that you automatically thought of a report or ebook that contained helpful free information that people could share with their friends and collegues. Of course you included your marketing message in the report, which would help you receive traffic from those that you wouldn't be able to reach on your own.

And then along came YouTube. Since it launched onto the internet scene a few years ago, viral marketing has taken on a whole new meaning. It is now possible to post a video on YouTube and have hundreds of people visiting your website within minutes. There's been dozens of other sites that have sprung up within the past year that enable you to post videos with your marketing message included. The 2 that I recommend are FreeIQ and Imeem.

7. Press Releases: Writing a press release is an incredible way to boost your web traffic. By describing the unique aspect of your business, product, or service, you allow reporters and publishers to give you free publicity that can bring in tons of traffic. If you choose a company whose releases are picked up by search engines like Google or Yahoo news, the amount of traffic you can recieve can be almost mind-boggling. And if they archive your press release on their website you can conceivably still be getting traffic to your site months or even years later. Two of the PR sites whose releases are most likely to be picked up by the search engines are PRWeb and PR.com.

8. Webrings: Many webmasters join up with similar websites and create what is called a webring. By combining forces with other complimentary sites, you'll receive traffic from people who are already interested in your product or service. Each participating site is given a code that they place at the bottom of their webpage. Visitors navigate through the sites by following the buttons that are in the webring code. To learn more about webrings check out these sites, WebRing and RingSurf.

9. Article or Bum Marketing: While it can be time consuming if you are not accustomed to doing it, well written content articles released for free distribution through article directories have the potential of gaining you credibility within your target market, as well as huge amounts of traffic through the use of your "resource box", which includes your name and a link to your site. As with press releases, if the articles are archived on the directory's website this traffic method can still be producing website visitors years down the road. Two of the most well-known and popular article directories are EzineArticles and GoArticles.com.

10. Social Networking: Contrary to popular thinking, social networking sites have been online long before MySpace became a commonly known buzzword. These networks can be an excellent way to meet up with people who have the same business interests and hobbies as you do. By allowing you to add your business links to your networking webpage, you increase the chance of receiving targeted visitors to your site as they come through your circle of friends. Check out the following two networks which are targeted more to the online business owner: Joe Popular and Ryze.

11. Posting on Forums: After losing some of the popularity that they had in the 90's, forums are again regaining the recognition that they deserve and you're most likely losing thousands of dollars if you ignore them. While I highly recommend this form of advertising, you should be aware of the proper etiquette before attempting to implement it. When joining any forum always familarize yourself with the rules that are posted by the forum's owner or moderator. Two forums that I recommend are, Mark Hendrick's Inner Circle Marketing Forum and Conquer Your Niche Marketing Forum.

By following these steps, you should see a dramatic increase in your web traffic. The key is to spend some time each day using one of these steps and it is very likely that you will be rewarded with more website visitors and greater revenue rather quickly.

Increase Your Site's Traffic with Free Comment Kahuna Software

Last week I downloaded a free software program called Comment Kahuna. After checking it out I was physced and intended to let you know about it a.s.a.p. I then got distracted with other things and forgot all about it, until I received this "success story" today from Jason Potash, Co-founder of Comment Kahuna.

"I just wanted to write you a quick testimonial and thank you for Comment Kahuna. Here's the short version: I built a blog for my father to post children's stories he has written. The theme was character stories. The promotional method? Nothing but Comment Kahuna.

Google lists # of competing pages at 2,720,000. Using relevant blogs without worrying about whether they were no-follow or what their PR was, I posted useful comments to blogs over the period of a month. Current rank: 1st page, 4th position for characterstories.net for the phrase character stories.

I found out when doing a backlink check later that all the blogs I posted to were no-follow. Didn't seem to matter. So thank you for sharing such a powerful and easy-to-use tool!"
So, just what is Comment Kahuna? It's a FREE software program that will help build targeted backlinks to your website or blog by enabling you to post relevant and sensible comments on blogs in your niche - in less than half the time it takes you to do so now.

Please, do yourself a favor and go watch the free Comment Kahuna video now. There's no strings attached.

And while I'm on the subject of website traffic, you might be interested to know that we've just added Edmund Loh's 750 Traffic Tactics to JanRon Publishing. Even if it didn't come with private label rights, which it does, this is one powerful package!

Viral Marketing With Videos - Spoof

Sometimes we marketers take ourselves far too seriously. So after my rant yesterday, I thought it was time for a little humor.

The following video spoof on "viral videos" fits the bill - except I'm afraid it won't be as funny to those who have never seen American television, which constantly bombards us with these "types" of commercials.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it and be sure to leave a comment!

An Open Plea to Digital Resellers - Stop The Insanity

Well it happened again - and to say that I'm 'upset' would be a gigantic understatement, because I am pissed-off, BIG TIME!

So what is it that has me seeing red and snorting like a bull about to charge?

Yesterday I found a great new product with master resale rights that I wanted to add to my SBM Distributors website. So I shelled out the $67 that the product cost, with plans to add it to the site today.

Well guess what? I just received an email from someone who is selling that brand new product - that I spent a half a tank of gas money on - for 3 FLIPPIN' DOLLARS!

After I stopped pounding my head against my desk and uttering a few choice words that are not fit for a lady to hear, much less say, I remembered a small article that I had written last year when the same thing happened to me.

I feel the need to offer it here.

The Cheapening of Resale Rights Products

I usually reserve my "soapbox rants" for my husband's ears only - and he still loves me in spite of it.

But something is happening in the area of resale rights products that has me so disturbed that I feel something has to be said about it in public.

Two weeks ago I paid a good amount of money to purchase the master resale rights to a BRAND NEW product that had just been released. But since I was in the process of putting together a new resale rights package, I put the release of the new product on hold.

Wrong thing to do. Just a few minutes ago I saw that same product being offered for FREE in a jv giveaway!

Now I've got nothing against giveaways, I even participate in a few myself, but good grief people, at least let a brand new product stay on the seller's market for longer than 2 hours before you devalue it by offering a $97.00 product at $9.99 or even worse, GIVING IT AWAY!

There's nothing wrong with trying to sell a product a little cheaper than somebody else - but offering a NEW product for pennies on the dollar is, in my opinion, asinine - and in the long run cheapens the entire resale rights industry.

So my plea today is this - let's unite to bring a respectable "shelf life" back to resale rights products - before we kill the goose that laid the golden egg!

[iamsbm]
Sharon Bray-McPherson

NOTE: I think a lot of the blame for this practice began when eBay started permitting digital products to be listed for auctions or sale. And although I realize the recent ban on the sale of digital products hurt a lot resellers, perhaps it might help to bring some value back to digitals.

As one recent commenter stated, "The way I see it is that a LOT of folks will be looking elsewhere for digital products now that they can't get them on ebay. Good opportunity!".

As I mentioned in my article, a little healthy competition never hurts anybody - but this stupid bottom of the barrel price undercutting that we're now seeing puts profit into only one pocket - the original creator of the products.

Whether you agree or disagree with my rant your comments are welcomed and will be appreciated. And if you do agree, help spread the word by letting others know about this post.

Review of CB Niche Builder

I love Clickbank! I think one of the top reasons I love 'em, is because of all the great tools that have been created to help Clickbank affiliates crank out sales.

And we've just added one of those tools, CB Niche Builder, to the JanRon Publishing Products Catalog.

I've had a chance to test this product for myself and this is one awesome piece of software. And the video tutorials that are included with the software makes it easy for even a technically challenged dunce like me to set up a niche Clickbank site in just minutes.

I've added a few of my own tweaks to the pages, but the following Dog Training site took me about 15 minutes to set up using one of the 5 templates that are included with CB Niche Builder

Choosing the Right Niche Can Be The Key to a Profitable Blog

Blogs may have originated as a means of keeping online journals and building a sense of community, however; the use of this blogging model doesn't produce much benefit for the online entrepreneur.

Unless your kids are much cuter than every other bloggers' or, you are an amazingly interesting person with some tremendous writing talents, your personal blog will get lost in the chorus of voices that crowd the world of blogs. So if your plan is to make your blog produce an income, you'll need to select the proper topic to focus your blogging efforts upon.

Finding a profitable topic on which to blog is at the very root of blogging success, so the idea is to choose a niche in which you can compete with the other millions of bloggers, but be able to do so with the least amount of resistance. Your goal is to find a niche that is underserved - yet has a high level of interest. This will enable you to attract large amounts of visitors more easily, which, of course, translates into higher profit levels.

There are a few factors to consider when choosing a niche for a "money blog." First, you need to find an area in which you have a personal interest, especially if you plan on writing your own content. The reason your first choice should be a subject that you're interested in is because a successful blog requires regular updates. If you have no real interest in the topic you're blogging about, regularly producing quality information will begin to feel like a 'chore'. However; if you choose to use a service such as Niche-Content-Packages to provide content for your blog posts this is a less important factor.

Secondly, you should search for a niche in which the public's interest is at least relatively high. You may be able to get top rankings in the search engines for the topic of "17th century wooden paperweights," but most likely there are few, if any, people with an interest in that subject. Therefore that number one ranking in Google will not produce the kind of traffic stream your blog will need to turn a profit.

It may be more difficult to enter a more competitive marketplace, but the potential rewards are far greater if you can break into a niche with healthy competition. The key to this element of choosing your topic is not just blogging about a hot niche, its finding a target market from which a large number of visitors can be received.

Last, but certainly not least, you want to find a market that is underserved. Basically you are looking for a strong disparity between the number of people interested in a particular topic and the amount of available information on the topic. If you can find a niche in which many people are interested - but in which readily available information is lacking - you will be sitting upon a potential blogging gold mine.

That's not to say you can't produce a profitable blog by competing in a crowded market, but doing so requires a lot more work. Finding an underserved market and filling the gap in that market is a much easier way to
Blog Your Way To Wealth.

Choosing a topic for your moneymaking blog can be a challenging process. However; your choice of a topic not only establishes the nature of your blog, it also (in large measure) determines its potential for success.

Don't buy Edmund's new 750 Traffic Tactics PLR Package

Well, Edmund Loh has done it again! Just when you think he can't possibly out-do his previous Private Label Rights package - he goes and does it!

This one includes an awesome 750 Traffic Tactics that you're gonna love. And it seems like with each new package the graphics get more awesomer (is that a word? if not, it is now).

Sooo, why am I telling you not to buy it if the package is that great?

If your email box looks like mine, it is already filled with others promoting 750 Traffic Tactics. But what you may not have noticed, is that at this time all you can sell is the resale or master resale rights to the package. Edmund has chosen to hold off on letting private label rights be sold until April 14th.

He's also placed a restriction that the package cannot be added to membership sites until that date. And when April 14 rolls around, we'll be adding it to JanRon Publishing - where you can get it for free!

But only if you're a member of the JanRon Digital Club!

Of course if you feel you just can't wait to get your hands on it, or, you want to join the customer only affiliate program, here's the direct link to the whole enchilada. http://www.privatelabelrightsgold.com/750

Mail Server Report Virus Warning Only Partially Correct

If you haven't already, chances are that you will soon be forwarded the following virus warning by a friend or associate.

Anyone-using Internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on.

This information arrived this morning, Direct from both Microsoft and Norton.

Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet.

You may receive an apparently harmless e-mail titled "Mail Server Report"

If you open either file, a message will appear on your screen saying: 'It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful.'

Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC, And the person who sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password.

This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the anti virus software's are not capable of destroying it.

The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself 'life owner'.

PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THIS E-MAIL TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS, And ask them to PASS IT ON IMMEDIATELY!

THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY SNOPES

http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/mailserver.asp

The problem is, that warning is only correct on one point...there is a new virus being circulated called, 'Mail Server Report'.

It is either mistakenly, or purposely, being linked to the supposedly Life is Beautiful virus, which has been making it's rounds through cyberspace since January of 2002. It's also known as the "Life is Wonderful" and "Everything is Beautiful" virus. Whatever you wanna call it - it is a hoax!

HOWEVER; the "Mail Server Report" virus is real and does pose a potential pain in the a** problem if your pc becomes infected with it.

The ACTUAL wording in the email containing the "Mail Server Report" virus is as follows...

Mail server report.

Our firewall determined the e-mails containing worm copies are being sent from your computer.

Nowadays it happens from many computers, because this is a new virus type (Network Worms).

Using the new bug in the Windows, these viruses infect the computer unnoticeably.

After the penetrating into the computer the virus harvests all the e-mail addresses and sends the copies of itself to these e-mail addresses

Please install updates for worm elimination and your computer restoring.

Best regards,
Customers support service

To make you think they're being a really nice guy (yeah right), the perpetrator of the virus offers you an update to stop your computer from being used to spread mass-mailing worms, the message includes attachments that when opened actually infect your PC with the very worm he's supposed to be protecting you from, one known as Warezov.W or W32/Warezov.X.

So what steps can you take to keep your computer from becoming infected with this worm?

It's simple really - DON'T OPEN ANY ATTACHMENTS THAT COME THROUGH EMAIL!

And since it is possible for viruses to "spoof" or fake the sender’s address, do NOT open Emails with attachments from people you know, UNLESS you were expecting an attachment from them, or if the attachment is a file type or file name that you customarily do not receive from this person.

To protect your computer against viruses, spyware and all those other little goodies you can live without, I suggest you visit mine and Jan's website, JRM Software.

Digital Media Solution a Shining Light in the eBay Digitals Darkness

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't posted anything here in the last few days, but I've been really busy working on the redesign and relaunch of my original website, SBM Distributors. I should be finished either today or tomorrow and will then be able to update this blog more frequently.

In my last post, "Could Kunaki be the Solution to the eBay Digital Ban?" I mentioned that even though eBay's new policy change, bans the sale of digital products, it does still permit you to sell digitals IF those products are on a CD or DVD and can be shipped to the customer as a physical product.

The problem with that is that a whole lot of folks have no idea how to put their digital products on CD/DVD. Well, as I've often said, one of the things that is so neat about online marketing
is that when there's a problem, there will always be someone to come along and "show us the way". So without further hesitation, let me introduce you to...

Digital Media Solution!

When I first received news of Digital Media Solution last evening I put it into my "gotta check it out asap" file and intended to look at it in more depth as soon as I'm finished with my current project. My main reason for doing so is because it was created by Dave Nicholson, who I've purchased several products from in the past and have always been totally satisfied with what I got.

But after just receiving an email from John Thornhill of Mentorship Monthly and who is someone that I trust implicitly, raving about Dave's Digital Media Solution, I knew I could feel safe letting you know about it right away, even though I haven't had a chance to purchase it myself yet.

Dave has personally spent the last few days (and nights!) compiling a package of high quality videos that will show you exactly how to transfer your digital downloads to digital disc and make it look professional.

AND not just any old way, because Dave shows you how to do this using the simplest, yet most professional methods and get this - all with totally free resources!

But you'll get much much more than just videos with Digital Media Solution. So much more in fact, that you'll have to see it all for yourself.

[iamsbm]
Sharon Bray-McPherson

P.S. Jan just added this to the comments section but I wanted to put it here to be certain everyone reads it.

"hi, Sharon. I just wanted to add that since some members do not have cd burners, if they do not want to try the Kunaki option, tho I cannot imagine why NOT, since they can obviously do cd/dvd burning, labeling and mailing much more cheaply than I can, that I would be glad to burn any of our members a cd of the member products for a reasonable fee. They can just email me at jantd@charter.net if interested."
